I did not get the complete list of prayer concerns this week, but please be in prayer for the following people.
The family of Alan Gifford who was killed in Iraq this past week. He was living here in Richmond Hill with his wife Beth, and they have a two year old son. They are members of First Baptist Church. A Memorial Service was held for him this past weekend.

Ian Hensel- 5 year old who is undergoing chemotherapy for a tumor behind his heart

Ian Hensel- 5 year old who is undergoing chemotherapy for a tumor behind his heart
Stephen Jordan- Mary and Marshal Worsham’s 22 year old grandson and Sharon Worsham’s nephew- He was in a major motorcycle accident on Friday and has undergone extensive surgery and will be having more surgery this week. He is in critical condition at Memorial Hospital. Mary and Marshall will be spending most of their upcoming days at the hospital and we would like to provide some meals for them. Please contact Katie Bell or Carol Benjamin if you are able to help. Thank you.

Hello everyone. Please also keep Sharon Washington’s Mother in your prayers this week. Sharon is a paraprofessional in Kindergarten at the Primary School. Her Mother fell and hit her head this week, causing blood clots to form in the brain. The last I heard, doctors were trying to dissolve the clots with blood thinners, but surgery may be necessary. Sharon has requested prayers for her Mother’s recovery.

All of the people who were affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and for all of the relief workers who are helping to put their lives back together.
The family and friends of Johnnie Lewis, long time employee for the Bryan County Board of Education- Johnnie, who worked as a Custodian at the Richmond Hill Elementary School passed away on Friday. The Bynes-Royall Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
