Please be in prayer for the following people and situations this week:

Greg has asked me to include the following prayer concerns for our Presbytery:

* Alan Baroody, the Executive Director of the Fraser Center in Hinesville, and a good friend to our Church, who is recovering from recent surgery- despite some pain, Alan is doing well.
* Christ Presbyterian (New Church Development) in Pooler, as they begin to build their permanent Church building

PDA is our emergency and long-term recovery ministry following floods, earthquakes, fire, violence and other disasters. Among other sources, it is funded throught the One Great Hour of Sharing at Eastertime.)

We praise and thank all of the people who worked to provide the wonderful production of "All Roads Lead to Bethlehem," last Sunday evening. For those people around the world who have so little, who may be hungry, sick or without shelter

For all members of our Armed Forces even more so during the Holiday Season, especially for those in harm’s way. We remember the following soldiers by name:
CSM Keith C. Dawson, CH/Major David Bowerman, Dusty Henry, Captain Toby Mackall, and Wayne Lee. Please let me know of other soldiers whose names we should include in our daily prayers.

Our prayers are with all people who are hurting during this Christmas Season- those who are facing Christmas without loved ones who have passed away, those who are experiencing family difficulties, who are separated due to Military deployment or who face loneliness, especially for older people who may be in Nursing Homes without family nearby. We pray that God will lift them up this week and that others will reach out to help them celebrate Christmas. We particularly pray for the young people of our Church who will be visiting and singing for the residents of the Bryan County Nursing Home tomorrow (Monday, December 22nd) night.

For our President, President-Elect and the leaders of our Country

Please continue to pray for the following people and situations and let me know of any updates you may have on these folks. In many cases, I have no way of knowing without your help. Thank you.
