Please be in prayer for the following people and situations this week.

For our Paul Helmly and his family, Janie Moore and all of the RHPC family following the death of our beloved Evelyn Helmly this past week

Reba Baldridge- Ouieda Sisco’s sister- Reba has undergone surgery in the past for a brain tumor and tests are now showing that the tumor has grown back. Ouieda will let us know what treatment(s) she will be facing.

The victims, families and friends affected by the Sugar Refinery Explosion, especially for those who continue to go through the difficult recovery in the Burn Hospital in Augusta.

Mary Ann Jones who continues to recover from neck surgery. Mary Ann was most thankful for the meals that were provided for her when she came home from the hospital.

Bryan County Schools as we complete the SACS Accreditation process

Ricky and Jennifer Blanton- Jennifer was with us at Church this morning and she looks wonderful after recovering from the flu recently and trying to recover from a pinched nerve in her neck.

Joy Johnson- Principal at Carver Elementary School- I understand that Joy is back home in Richmond Hill and still recovering from illness.

This request is from Candy Exley:
I need to add a name to the prayer list. A nine year old boy whose Mother is a good friend of my co-worker is sick with kidney problems. He's in the hospital now and will probably be sent to a specialist in Augusta. The doctors say when he is about 20 he will have to have a kidney transplant. This family really needs our prayers.

Cindy (King) Williamson- Cindy is facing many complications due to diabetes and kidney failure. She is in Candler Hospital and is under dialysis treatment until she can be placed on a transplant list for a kidney and pancreas.

For all members of our armed forces, especially for those in harm’s way. Keep these soldiers in your prayers- Joshua Hanafin, CSM Keith C. Dawson, Jim Levine, Jeff Moser, Don Matthew, CH/Major David Bowerman, Dusty Henry, and Captain Toby Mackall. Please let me know of other soldiers whose names we should include in our daily prayers.

For our President and the leaders of our Country, including those men and women currently involved in the election process.

We praise God for the work that has been done by our Pastor Nominating Committee over the past year and a half and continue to ask for prayers as we hopefully near the end of this period of transition.

Matthew Cordle as he recovers from a knee injury he received in a car accident last week

Jennifer Blanton- Jennifer is suffering from a pinched nerve and also has come down with a bad cold.

Joy Johnson- Principal at Carver Elementary School- My understanding is that Joy has been very sick and in and out of the hospital since December. I believe she is in the hospital in Atlanta now.

Betsy and Bob Wilson and their family following the death of Betsy’s sister, Mary Donati last weekend.

Praise Report from Leslie Barto- Leslie received wonderful news this week from her doctor that her tests show that the radiation treatments have been successful. She is very happy and is looking forward to returning to work as a firefighter as soon as she gets her strength back.

The family of Kirk Burdick who passed away on January 6th- Kirk was the husband of Lou Ellen Burdick who works with the Savannah Presbytery.

Cindy (King) Williamson- Cindy is facing many complications due to diabetes and kidney failure. She is in Candler Hospital and is under dialysis treatment until she can be placed on a transplant list for a kidney and pancreas.

Sandra Barwick’s dad, Frank Seyfer, is at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. He has not been doing well for several weeks and was having trouble swallowing. This problem contributed to him becoming severely dehydrated. Hopefully, he will recover from this with hospice care.

Thank you for the prayers for my brother-in-law and the World Vision Mission Team that he traveled with to Africa. He returned home on schedule to Jacksonville on Friday afternoon.

Bill and Nancy Lindeman as Bill begins work in Winston-Salem next week and Nancy continues her work at the Thornwell Home for Children in Clinton. We wish them and their family the very best and thank them for their work with us over the past 15 months.

Betsy and Bob Wilson and their family following the death of Betsy’s sister, Mary Donati, on Saturday evening.

Jana James’s Grandmother, Betty Whitten, who is recovering from hip surgery in Oklahoma
