Please be in prayer for the following people and situations this week.
Please pray for the Kelly family. Caitlyn Kelly was on the prayer list about a month ago following an accident at her job when she received 2nd degree burns. She received treatment at the Augusta Burn Center and is healing well. She is a rising senior at RHHS and a very good friend of Sarah’s. Caitlyn’s dad is in the U.S. Army and just returned from Iraq- he actually came home about a month early because of her accident. Sarah and I had the pleasure of meeting his parents (Caitlyn’s grandparents) who were here to visit after he arrived home. Sarah called me last night to let me know that Caitlyn’s grandparents were in an accident in NY where they live on Friday night. Her grandfather was killed. I am not sure of the condition of her grandmother at this point. Caitlyn called Sarah from the car when they were on their way up to NY. Please pray for their family and I will let you know when I get further information. Thank you.
Continued prayers for the family and friends of Joye Johnson and for the faculty and staff at Carver Elementary School following Joye’s death this past week.
Please pray for Jennifer and Ricky Blanton and for Jennifer’s Dad, John Ross, who is facing complications during his treatment for cancer. Jennifer has worked very closely with Joye Johnson over the years and her death this past week is especially difficult for her and her coworkers at Carver. Pray for Jennifer’s health and that she will be strengthened during this time in every way. And continue to pray that safe travels for Jennifer and Ricky as they travel back and forth to be with her family.
