For Churches in our Presbytery that are going through transitional stages- searching for pastors, welcoming new pastors or planning for expansion.

For those people around the world who have so little, who may be hungry, sick or without shelter, especially during the extremely cold temperatures we have been experiencing in some places.

For all members of our Armed Forces, especially for those in harm’s way. We remember the following soldiers by name:
CSM Keith C. Dawson, CH/Major David Bowerman, Dusty Henry, Captain Toby Mackall, and Wayne Lee. Please let me know of other soldiers whose names we should include in our daily prayers.

For our President, President-Elect and the leaders of our Country during this time of transition

Please continue to pray for the following people and situations and let me know of any updates you may have on these folks. In many cases, I have no way of knowing without your help. Thank you.

Please be in prayer for the following people and situations this week:

Lilo Connor who was taken by ambulance to the hospital this morning from Church. We believe her problem was related to low blood sugar. I will let you know if I receive an update.

For the family of Leon Scott

The family of George Perry

The family of Marguerite Spann

The family of Billy Herrin

The family of Nancy McCants who passed away a few weeks ago. Nancy was the mother of my best childhood friend.

Darlene Gillispie (Greg’s aunt) and her husband, Lyle, in Kansas. Darlene is in the final stages of life.

Mary Herndon and Sara Lord for chronic health problems- both ladies are friends of Melanie Collum’s
Melanie has asked us to also be in prayer for Sara Lord's son, Bill Lord, who has finished seminary (Baptist). Pray he will be called to the church the Lord wants him to serve in.

We continue to praise God for the wonderful news received by Cheryl Fox in December. After almost 5 months of chemo and with our Lord’s help, the doctor says her scans look better than they did 5 years ago!

For Churches in our Presbytery that are going through transitional stages- searching for pastors, welcoming new pastors or planning for expansion.

Randy Ackley, who has been appointed coordinator of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

John Ross, Jennifer Blanton's father- We praise God that John was feeling very well at Christmas. Jennifer said that they had a wonderful family Christmas in Atlanta.
